Valpantenas Ripasso goes through a special process that has been used since the dawn of time in the Valpolicella valley: young Valpolicella wine made from local grape varieties Rondinella, Corvinone and Corvina is added to the grape marc from Valpantenas Amarone wines, which pass on the concentrated flavor and sweetness. Thereby, Ripasso achieves greater depth and intensity. The wine is fruity, with a deep, ruby red color, dried fruit nuances with an elegant softness. It has a powerful bouquet, but also contains delicate notes of wild forest berries. Ripasso from Valpantena is recommended for all kinds of game, grilled meat and dry mature cheeses.
