Description
Grape composition: 81% Zinfandel - 11% Syrah - 6% Petite Sirah. 1000 Stories Zinfandel is produced in very small quantities and can vary in the grape composition in the individual vintages. The must is traditionally aged in French and American casks as well as bourbon casks, contributing vanilla, dried herbs and a hint of caramel. Intense raspberry on the nose with black pepper and a hint of cloves and dried herbs. The mouth fills with ripe tannins, large dark and red fruits followed by a wide range of spices. The wine finishes with a touch of warmth. It is a wine that goes well with grilled food and red meat in general.
