Description
AU, which is the chemical designation for gold, is produced from grapes from Apulia in southern Italy. The grapes have been allowed to hang on the vine for an extra long time to dry and thus achieve a higher concentration of sugar and intense flavor nuances. AU APPASSIMENTO has a deep and fruity aroma with a hint of prunes and raisins. In the taste you are met by a "warm" fullness with nuances of ripe cherries and raspberries, followed by spicy notes of sweet tobacco and finished by a natural sweetness and a soft tannin structure. The wine is a fantastic companion to dishes with beef, preferably grilled, roasted marinated pork, various pasta dishes or mature hard cheeses. Enjoy the wine at a serving temperature of 16-18 degrees.
