The grapes for MontGras DE-Vine Chardonnay Reserva come from 14-year-old vines growing in the cool, clayey soil of two of MontGras Estate's parcels. 40% of the wine has been aged in small French oak casks, of which approx. 1/4 are new barrels. The result is a wine that is suitable for aging and has a character that combines the typical fruit of the Chardonnay grape with complexity and structure and a wide range of aromas.
