Description
The rum is made as a celebration of the 10th anniversary of the first Millonario rum from Peru. The rum is thus not 10 years old. Here we are talking about different rums, which are mixed to give a good balance between different flavors and the cask aging. The majority comes from younger rums that have been matured in used Bourbon casks. A smaller portion from slightly nobler rum that has been matured in used Spanish sherry casks. Sweet, deep and round. Molasses, is the first thing that hits the nose, same with notes of vanilla, banana, pear and apples. Powerful aroma, which comes from the high alcohol percentage (50%) Powerful taste due to the alcohol percentage, which really makes the sweetness of the molasses bloom. Notes of dark chocolate and dried fruits. Sweet aftertaste with notes of honey, which is at the same time clean and direct. The alcohol again leaves a mark on the experience, but is not overwhelming.
